Domestic battery
A Ridgeville man was arrested Friday evening on a battery charge.
Jason A. Zent, 30, no address available, was arrested for battery/domestic, a Level 6 felony, and interference with reporting a crime, a Class A misdemeanor.
He was booked at 6:16 p.m. into Jay County Jail and is being held there on a $4,000 bond.

Multiple charges
A Redkey man was arrested Sunday evening on multiple charges.
Nathan S. Lawhead, 37, 7283 S. Indiana 1, was arrested for habitual traffic violator - lifetime suspension, a Level 5 felony, resisting an officer, residential entry and battery, all Level 6 felonies, resisting an officer, a Class A misdemeanor, and operating a vehicle while intoxicated, a Class A misdemeanor.
He was booked at 10:44 p.m. into Jay County Jail and is being held on a $15,000 bond.

Bench warrant
A Portland woman was arrested Sunday afternoon on a bench warrant for theft.
Chelsea Desiree-Lavon Wilhelm, 28, 5726 S. 200 West, was arrested on a Jay Superior Court bench warrant for theft, a Level 6 felony.
She was booked at 5:13 p.m. into Jay County Jail and is being held there with no bond.

Resisting
A Portland man was arrested Sunday afternoon for resisting an officer.
William J. Williams III, 30, was arrested for resisting an officer, a Level 6 felony, and a battery/domestic charge, a Class A misdemeanor.
He was booked at 3:02 p.m. into Jay County Jail with a bond set at $4,000.
