Public Notice CITY OF DUNKIRK Jay County, Indiana 2016 Layne (Westview) Addition Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed Bids for the construction of the City of Dunkirk, 2016 Layne (Westview) Addition Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation will be received by the City of Dunkirk, at the Municipal Building located at 131 South Main, Dunkirk, Indiana 47336, until 4:00 p.m. local time on May 23rd, 2016. Bids shall be opened at the Town Council meeting held at 131 South Main Street, at 7:00 p.m, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project consists of trenchless cured-in-place pipe lining of approximately 2,162 LFT of 8" and 334 LFT of 10" sanitary sewer pipe, 76 LFT of 10" sanitary sewer pipe, installing 44 lateral clean-outs, and cured-in-place lining of 47 laterals, including traffic control and sewer videoing reports required to construct the project. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the bid form. Bidding Documents are available to be emailed in portable document format (PDF) for a non-refundable payment of $50.00. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is highly encouraged but is not mandatory. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bids shall be properly and completely executed on bid forms included in the Specifications. The bid documents shall include all information requested by Indiana Form 96 (Revised 2013) included with the Specifications. Under Section III of Form 96, the Bidder shall submit a financial statement. A copy of the proposed Financial Statement to be submitted with the bid is included in the bid documents section to these specifications. The Owner may make such investigations as deemed necessary to determine the ability of the Bidder to perform the work and the Bidder shall furnish to the Owner all such information and data for this purpose as the Owner may request. The Owner reserves the right to reject any bid if the evidence submitted by, or investigation of, such Bidder fails to satisfy the Owner that such Bidder is properly qualified to carry out the obligations of the Agreement and to complete the work contemplated therein. The City of Dunkirk reserves the right to accept any bid, reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and make the award in any manner deemed in the best interest of the City.
