FORT RECOVERY — The Fort Recovery High School boys and girls track teams dominated the competition Thursday.
The Tribe girls won 13 of a possible 16 events to total 97 points, finishing ahead of Crestview (32) and New Knoxville (30).
Fort Recovery’s boys took first in 12 events to win the three-team meet with a total of 104 points. Crestview scored 50 to finish second and New Knoxville tallied 10 points.
Kiah Wendel and Kristen Keller both earned a pair of individual victories for the Tribe girls, and Wendel helped with two winning relay teams. Keller won both throwing events, finishing first in the shot put with a distance of 30 feet, 11.5 inches. She threw the discus 84 feet, 6 inches, to win that event as well.
Wendel was first in both the 100-meter dash (14.05 seconds) and 200 dash (29.04). She joined Alyssa Post, Emily May and Angela Heitkamp to win the 4x100 relay in 56 seconds, and teamed with Lauren Gehle, May and Heitkamp for a victory in the 4x200 relay in 1 minute, 57.21 seconds.

Cassy Martin (800 run – 2:34.14), Hannah Heitkamp (1,600 – 6:06.2), Chloe Will (3,200 – 13:39.27), Post (100 hurdles – 18.59) and Hobbs (300 hurdles – 55.58) also earned individual wins.
Angela Heitkamp, Hobbs, May and Martin combined to win the 4x400 relay in 4:43.85, with Hannah Heitkamp, Elise Gehle, Will and Martin finishing the 4x800 relay in 11:26.16 for first place.
On the boys’ side, Travis Sutter won three races — the 800 run (2:16.40), 1,600 run (5:02.75) and 3,200 run (11:03.05). Tanner Koch won both the 200 dash (25.06) and long jump (19 feet, 5.5 inches) before joining Robby LeFevre, Caleb Martin and Brandon “Speedy” Schoen for wins in the 4x100 (46.47) and 4x200 (1:36.51) relays.
LeFevre was victorious in the 110 hurdles (16:43) and 300 hurdles (44.26), with Tyler Acheson and Caylen Rockwood picking up wins in the shot put (44 feet, 4 inches) and discus (122 feet, 4 inches) respectively.
Brayden Schoen and Martin tied for first in high jump with a height of 5 feet, 4 inches.
