Public Notice NOTICE TO BIDDERS The City of Portland will receive bids for the purchase of a manufactured home located at the Portland Municipal Airport. Interested bidders may examine the home by contacting airport manager, Hal Tavzel, during normal business hours. Sealed bids may be submitted in writing at the mayor's office in the City Building, 321 North Meridian Street, Portland, IN 47371 beginning Monday, August 29th, 2016 and the sale will continue from day to day until Monday, September 12th, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. The bids will be open at a special called meeting of the board of works. The City may sell the property to the highest and best bidder. The City reserves the right to reject all bids. The successful bidder must remove the manufactured home within 30 days after the bid is awarded. The successful bidder will be responsible for any damages to the airport property.
