Seniors to be free Sept. 7 at Minnetrista

Seniors will be admitted free on Wednesday, Sept. 7 at Minnetrista gathering place in Muncie and can also enjoy a free program.
The Delaware County Master Gardeners Association will discuss their experiences supporting horticulture through volunteering in Minnetrista’s garden spaces. Programs will be held at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Senior free admission days are supported by Westminster Village of Muncie.

Class reunion
The South Adams High School graduating class of 1976 will hold its 40th reunion in Sptember.
Activities will begin Friday, Sept. 16 and continue through Saturday, Sept. 17. They will include a tour of the high school, the South Adams homecoming football game, a golf outing at Cross Creek Golf Club in Decatur, a concert by Sam and the Wildcats and end with dinner and a play in Fort Wayne.

Fort symposium
A 225th Anniversary Symposium of the Battle of the Wabash 1791, an event of the Fort Recovery State Museum, will be held in November in Fort Recovery.
The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 5 at the Nazarene Family Center, 401 E. Boundary St.
Speakers will be John Winkler, George Ironstrack, Stephen Paper, Chris Thompson and Cameron Shriver and the day will end with a question and answer session.
Registration is required by Oct. 1, as well as a $50 refundable check.
