Olivia Cash, Pennville, was granted the Chappell/Sutherland Purdy Scholarship by the Phi Upsilon Omicron Educational Foundation.
Cash is majoring in fashion merchandise and apparel design at Ball State University and is a member of the Phi Upsilon Omicron chapter.
Phi Upsilon Omicron is the oldest national Family and Consumer Sciences Honor Society and recognizes and encourages achieved excellence in scholarship, leadership and service for students of family and consumer sciences.
Fort scholarships
Fort Recovery High School students Nate Knapke, Leah Kunk and Adam Schmitz were awarded $400 vocational scholarships.
The scholarships are given to FRHS seniors enrolled in a vocational program through the high school or Tri Star Career Compact and are nominated by their employer, teacher or guidance counselor.
