Tuesday vs. Yorktown: With Yorktown keying on Jay Houck, fellow Jay County senior Jason Schlosser was nearly flawless from the field in scoring a career-high 22 points as the Patriots won, 54-40. A 10-0 run during the fourth quarter helped JCHS pull away from the visiting Tigers. Houck finished with 15 points. He and Schlosser both had six rebounds and Cole Stigleman chipped in eight points.

Saturday at Hamilton Heights: Tanner Lambert’s 21-point game wasn’t enough as Delta lost to Hamilton Heights, 60-55. It was the first loss of the season for the Eagles. Josh Moore and Josh Bryan each contributed 10 points for the Eagles, who got a 5-for-9 shooting performance from long distance from Lambert.
Season leaders (per game): Points — Tanner Lambert 21.0, Josh Bryan 9.8, Adam Haynes 9.7. Rebounds — Adam Haynes 10.5, Josh Bryan 3.8. Assists — Tanner Lambert 3.0.
Last season: Jay County kept Delta without a point for more than eight minutes in a 33-26 victory over the Eagles in Portland. Adam Dirksen had 12 of his game-high 18 points in the second half. Jay Houck added 10 points. Matt Norris led Delta with 13 points.
Game notes: This is the 53rd meeting all time between Jay County and Delta, with the Patriots holding a 32-20 advantage in the series. Jay County has won each of the last six games against Delta ...
