Tribe seventh graders top MV
Eighth grade team lost
FORT RECOVERY — The Fort Recovery Middle School seventh grade boys basketball team defeated the Mississinawa Valley Blackhawks on Tuesday, 48-21.
The eighth grade Indians lost, 40-29.
Riley Will paced the FRMS seventh graders with a team-high 16 points. Brian Bighn and Regan Martin chipped in with six points each, while Ryne Post and Cobi Wendel added five points apiece.
Russell Gehle tallied four points, and Derek Lochtefeld and Carson Rammel both added three points.
Grant Knapke was the lone Fort Recovery eighth grader to reach double figures, finishing with 11 points. Ian Homan narrowly missed the feat, finishing with nine points.
Riley Dilworth scored four points, Jared Timmerman notched three and Owen Schoen tallied two.
