Racsters celebrated 50 years
Lon and Sheri Racster, Portland, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Jan. 30.
Lon married Sheri Garbers on Jan. 30, 1966, at First Methodist Church in Fort Branch.
Residents of Portland since 1967, Sheri retired as a business owner and Lon works for the law firm of Hinkle, Racster and Schemenaur in Portland.
The couple are the parents of Angie Jacks (husband: Troy), and Sam Racster (wife: Anna), both of Portland. They also have four grandchildren.
They will celebrate with a trip to New Orleans in the spring, where they spent their honeymoon.
