CrossRoads reports increase in 2015

CrossRoads Financial Federal Credit Union of Portland reported an 11.1 percent increase in its assets in 2015 at its annual meeting Jan. 30.
Janet Bantz, CrossRoads president and CEO, reported year-end assets of $49.5 million. Total membership also grew to 9,168.
CrossRoads ended the year with total loans of $28.3 million and total deposits of $45.1 million.
Board member Gene Jackson and Florine Golden were unopposed in their bids for re-election and will each serve a three-year term. Catherine Pinkerton was honored for 10 years of service.
Two hired
Fort Recovery Insurance Agency has hired a pair of new employees.
Connor Rammel and Kelly Meiring Walter, both Fort Recovery natives, have joined the business as licensed agents.
Rammel is a graduate of the University of Northwestern Ohio with a degree in business administration. Walter earned a degree in public relations/communications from Capital University.
Moser hires
Moser Motors of Portland has hired Gary Brookhart as a member of its sales team.
Brookhart had previously worked in sales for Kerns Chevrolet in Celina, Ohio. He had been with Kerns for 13 years.
Director named
Lisa Jennings of Winchester has been named executive director of Community Foundation of Randolph County.
The Winchester High School and Ball State University graduate took over the job on Feb. 1. She spent 15 years working for Old National and First Merchants banks in Winchester and Muncie before joining the foundation.
Profits drop
Gannett reported this week that its 2015 fourth-quarter net income dropped by 70 percent because of lower circulation and advertising revenue.
Net income for the company was $20.4 million in the fourth quarter of 2015 compared to $66.9 million for the same period in 2014. Advertising sales fell by 12.9 percent, and circulation revenue dropped by 7.9 percent.
Gannett owns USA TODAY as well as the Indianapolis Star, The Star Press (Muncie), the Palladium-Item (Richmond) and The Lafayette Journal & Courier in Indiana.
Doctor certified
Sabeena Ramrakhiani of Lutheran Medical Group has been certified by American Board of Internal Medicine in the subspecialty of adult congenital heart disease.
The certification is new from ABIM, as the first test for eligibility was held in October. Ramrakhiani is also certified in general cardiology, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, cardiac CT imaging and internal medicine.
