Battery
A Portland man was arrested for a felony battery charge.
Joshua A. Bonifas, 30, 960 S. Chicago Ave., was arrested for domestic battery, a Level 6 felony.
He was booked to Jay County Jail at 7:11 p.m., and remains there under a $3,000 bond.
OWI
A Dunkirk man with a suspended license was arrested this morning for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
Charles H. Harvey Jr., 27, 435 Haskell St., was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a blood alcohol concentration equivalent of 0.15 percent or more, a level 6 felony, as well as driving with a suspended license, a Class A misdemeanor.
He was booked at 5:06 a.m. into Jay County Jail, and is being held on no bond.
Syringe possession
A rural Portland man was arrested today for possession of a syringe and two misdemeanors.
Skylar Ray Kirby, 21, 3150 S. 200 West, was arrested for possession of a syringe, a Level 6 felony, as well as possession of paraphernalia and operating a vehicle while intoxicated, both Class A misdemeanors.
He was booked to Jay County Jail at 1:26 a.m., and is being held on a $4,500 bond.
Auto theft
A Geneva man was arrested Feb. 12 for auto theft.
Nathanial Augustas King, 33, was arrested for the Level 6 felony and was booked into Adams County Jail on a $5,000 bond.
