Public Notice NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS OF PROPOSED ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS Notice is hereby given the taxpayers of Jay County, Indiana that the proper legal officers of Jay County Council at the Jay County Court House, at 7:00 o'clock p.m., on the 9th day of March, 2016 will consider the following additional appropriations in excess of the budget for the current year. CEDIT 1112-001-30-0186 - Watershed Study $17,800.00 LOIT Cert Shares 1110-001-30-0185 - Bicentennial Committee $2,500.00 HIGHWAY 1176-003-30-0108 - Truck and Tractor Repair $29,298.66 SUPERIOR COURT 4913-001-30-0147 - SAP Contractual Services $13,681.00 Total $63,279.66 Taxpayers appearing at the meeting shall have a right to be heard. The additional appropriation as finally made will be referred to the Department of Local Government Finance. The DLGF will make a written determination as to the sufficiency of funds to support the appropriations made within fifteen (15) days of receipt of a certified copy of the action time.
