Wellness Series continues at Swiss Village
Taking Note
The Wellness Series continues at the Arthur & Gloria Muselman Wellness Pavilion, 1201 Emmental Drive in Berne.
Michelle McIntosh, vice president of marketing at Swiss Village, will speak on social wellness today and Taylor Lehman, director of human resources, and Jennifer Lehman, director of development and volunteers, will discuss occupational wellness on Thursday, March 3.
The March 10 session will focus on intellectual wellness and on March 17 spiritual wellness will be discussed.
All sessions will begin at 6:45 p.m. and participants can sign up for a door prize drawing and complete wellness challenges.
The last session on March 24 will be an open house and drawings will be held for a free one-month individual membership, a free t-shirt and a free massage with Megan Dunlap.

Alcove art
The work of Alcove artists Steve McClung, Leslie Newton, Delores Hart, Barb Stump and Margie Prim will be on display at the Twenty-Sixth Minnetrista Annual Juried Art Show & Sale in Muncie through April 24.
Alcove is a local artist collective.
Weigh-in
There will be a 4-H beef/dairy beef steer and commercial heifer weigh-in from 8 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 5 at Jay County Fairgrounds.
There will be a $3 animal identification fee.
Library crafts
DIY Crafts can be made between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Saturday at Jay County Public Library, 315 N. Ship St., Portland.
Dean’s list
Alyson Lucas was named to the fall dean’s list in the college of Arts and Sciences at Indiana University. She is a sophomore majoring in global and international studies. Her parents are Stephanie Reynolds, Portland, and Stephen Lucas, Louisiana.
