Obstruction
Ivan M. Cox, 21, Pennville, was found guilty in Jay Superior Court of obstruction of justice, a Level 6 felony. He was sentenced to one year in Jay County Jail with all but 30 days suspended, given two days credit for one day served, sentenced to serve the remaining 28 days of sentence on electronically monitored home detention, fined $1, assessed court costs of $183 and placed on formal probation for 11 months.
Probation violation
Danielle M. (Grady) Lewis, 34, Portland, violated the conditions of her probation imposed Jan. 17, 2013, after a conviction of possession of a controlled substance, a Class D felony. She was sentenced to an additional 11 months of her three year sentence and given 28 days credit for 14 days served.
