Gospel group Trinity to play

The gospel group “Trinity” will perform at 7 p.m. Saturday for Saturday Night at the Village at Swiss Village Auditorium in Berne.

Dean’s list
Leslie Schubert, Portland, was named to the fall semester dean’s list  at Indiana State University in Terre Haute.
Schubert is a junior and is majoring in special education.

Donor month
January is National Blood Donor Month and the American Red Cross is encouraging everyone to donate blood.
A drive will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Jan. 19 at Pruis Hall  on McKinley University at Ball State University and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Muncie National Guard, 401 N. Country Club Road, Muncie.

Food collected
More than 1,839 pounds of food was collected at the Arthur and Gloria Muselman Wellness Pavilion in Berne during the Christmas season.
The food was donated to Compassionate Ministries Network, also known as Project Share, in Berne and The Lord’s Table in Geneva.
