Felony arrests
Drug charges
A Dunkirk man was arrested at 3:40 p.m. Wednesday on drug-related charges.
Joshua Scott Duty, 24, 121 W. Jay St., was arrested for possession of a syringe, possession of a legend or precursor and possession of a controlled substance, all Level 6 felonies. His arrest was a result searches conducted by Drug Task Force.
He was booked to Jay County Jail and is being held on at $4,500 bond.
Probation violation
A Dunkirk man was arrested for probation violation.
Justin Daniel Watson, 29, 277 E. Commerce St., was arrested at 2:03 p.m. Wednesday in Redkey for violating his probation.
A warrant was issued for his arrest for violating his probation, a Level 6 felony. His arrest was the result of a Drug Task Force search.
He was booked to Jay County Jail and is being held on a $2,000 bond.
Multiple arrests
Three were arrested Wednesday for drug-related charges after a search conducted by Drug Task Force.
An arrest warrant out of Jay Superior Court was issued for Alan Robert Smith, 19, 1112 N. Franklin St., Portland.
At the home, they found Mason David Emerick, 19, 157 S. Washington St., Pennville, and Justine Taylor Wallischeck, 19, 603 N. Pleasant St., Portland, who were both on probation.
During the search, Drug Task Force allegedly found methamphetamine manufactured in the residence.
Emerick was arrested at 10:22 a.m. for two or more precursors for intending to manufacture methamphetamine and maintaining a common nuisance, both Level 6 felonies.
He was booked to Jay County Jail and is being held on a $4,500 bond.
Smith was arrested at 10:06 a.m. for precursors to manufacture methamphetamine and maintaining a common nuisance, both Level 6 felonies, and possession of paraphernalia, a Class A misdemeanor, in addition to a pending bench warrant issued through Jay County.
He was booked to Jay County Jail and is being held on a $600 bond.
Wallischeck was arrested at 10:33 a.m. for maintaining a common nuisance and is being held at Jay County Jail on a $1,000 bond.
