Local notes
St. Clair 5K slated for Saturday
The Mercer County 5K Challenge heads to Fort Recovery for the St. Clair Run/Walk on Saturday.
Registration opens at 7:15 a.m. with the race to begin at 8:30 a.m. by cannon fire.
Cost is $20 with a shirt, $12 without a shirt, and $10 for those 10-and-younger without a shirt. Early registration must be completed by Friday.
The cost to register on the day of the race is $15, and shirts may be available on a limited basis.

Girls hoops camp is Monday
The Fort Recovery High School girls basketball team will be hosting a basketball camp for girls in second and third grades.
The camp will run from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday at the middle school gym.
Cost is $30, and checks should be made payable to Fort Recovery Girls Basketball. Each player will receive a t-shirt and basketball.
