McLaughlins celebrate 40th
Former Portland residents Richard and Diane McLaughlin, Lebanon, Ohio, will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary on Sunday.
Richard married Diane Hopkins on July 24, 1976, at West Walnut Street Church of Christ in Portland.
Diane retired as a certified pharmacy tech and Richard is a maintenance engineer at Sam Adams Brewery.
They are the parents of Stacey Cremers, Garrettsville, Ohio, and Scott McLaughlin (wife: Christina), Tipp City, Ohio. They also have three grandchildren.
The couple plan to celebrate with a family dinner, followed by a seven-day Western Caribbean cruise.
