Public Notice NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS OF PROPOSED ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS Notice is hereby given the taxpayers of Jay County, Indiana that the proper legal officers of Jay County Council at the Jay County Courthouse, at 7:00 o'clock p.m., on the 10th day of August, 2016, will consider the following additional appropriations in excess of the budget for the current year. LEPC 1152-001-20-0011 - Office Supplies $403.57 1152-001-20-0045 - Misc. Supplies $1,000.00 1152-001-30-0012 - Travel Expense $1,500.00 1152-001-30-0083 - Repair & Maintenance $750.00 HIGHWAY 1176-003-40-0022 - Highway Equipment $36,000.00 1176-002-20-0071 - Bituminous $474,510.85 HIGHWAY DONATIONS 4104-001-40-0027 - Paving Projects $26,000.00 Total $540,164.42 Taxpayers appearing at the meeting shall have a right to be heard. The additional appropriation as finally made will be referred to the Department of Local Government Finance. The DLGF will make a written determination as to the sufficiency of funds to support the appropriations made within fifteen (15) days of receipt of a certified copy of the action time.
