Drug charges
A Pennville man was arrested today on drug charges.
Joshua M. Best, 26, 295 S. Washington St., was arrested on charges of possession of a syringe and possession of cocaine, narcotics or methamphetamine, both Level 6 felonies.
He was also arrested on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia, both Class A misdemeanors.
Best was booked at 1:34 a.m. into Jail County Jail and is being held there on a $4,500 bond.

Bench warrant
A Portland man was arrested Thursday on a bench warrant.
Jacob E. Hudson, 101 S. Pierce St., Apartment 14, was arrested on a Jay Circuit Court bench warrant for burglary, a Level 4 felony.
He was also arrested on a Jay Circuit Court bench warrant for theft, a Class A misdemeanor.
He was booked at 11:35 a.m. into Jail County Jail and is being held there on a $16,000 bond.
