Eagle to be at Limberlost

An Independence Day bald eagle program will be held at the Limberlost State Historic Site Visitor Center in Geneva on July 4.
Soarin’ Hawk Raptor Rehab from Fort Wayne will have a live bald eagle and there will also be a power point presentation.
The program is free, but donations will be accepted.

To hold reunion
The Jay County High School class of 1976 will have its 40th reunion at the Portland Moose on Saturday, July 23, from 3 p.m. until midnight.
75th reunion
Kenny Bosworth, a member of the Portland High School class of 1941, recently celebrated his 75th reunion at the Portland Alumni Banquet.
Three other classmates still survive but were unable to attend. They include Dave Loy, Beulah Smith Hiser and Ciara Steiner.
