Child molesting
A Pennville man was arrested Friday evening for child molesting.
Jonah E. Tankersley Jr., 59, 355 S. Union St., was arrested for four counts of child molesting, all Level 4 felonies.
He was booked at 6:57 p.m. into Jay County Jail and has since been released on a $25,000 bond.
Drug charges
A Portland woman was arrested Friday morning for two charges relating to drugs.
Angela Rae McIver, 46, 110 S. Middle St., was arrested for maintaining a common nuisance, a Level 6 felony, and possession of marijuana, a Class A misdemeanor.
She was booked at 10:05 a.m. into Jay County Jail and has since been released on a $4,000 bond.

Multiple felonies
A Portland man was arrested Friday morning for multiple charges related to drugs.
Shane T. Williams, 40, 110 S. Middle St., was arrested for maintaining a common nuisance, a Level 6 felony, unlawfully carrying a handgun, a Level 4 felony, possession of cocaine, narcotics or methamphetamine, a Level 5 felony, and possession of marijuana or hashish, a Class A misdemeanor.
He was booked at 10:23 a.m. into Jay County Jail and is being held there on a $30,000 bond.
