Strange behavior
A Dunkirk man was arrested Thursday for two drug related charges.
At 3:29 p.m. a call was made to Portland Police Department reporting that a suspicious person was walking around in John Jay Center for Learning, 101 S. Meridian St.
Police arrived and allegedly found a syringe in his possession.
Jerry D. Davis, 28, 340 E. Mt. Auburn St., was arrested for possession of a syringe, a Level 6 felony, and possession of paraphernalia, a Class A misdemeanor.
He was booked at 3:43 p.m. into Jay County Jail and is being held there on a $4,000 bond.
