Donnie and Debbie James, Redkey, are celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary today.
They were married at North Meridian United Methodist Church in Redkey on March 22, 1991.
Debbie is clerk-treasurer for the town of Redkey, and Donnie is retired from Borg Warner in Muncie and is employed with the Jay County Sheriff’s Office as a correction officer.
They are the parents of six children: Chris James, Dunkirk; Donnie James, Florida; Eric James, Fort Wayne; Travis Hammond, Floyds Knobs: Taran Edwards, Dunkirk; and Darin James, Farmland.
They also have 25 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The couple will celebrate with a trip to Sanibel Island, Florida, with their daughter and her family.
