Judo championships set for April 16
Judan Judo in Portland is hosting the Indiana State Championships and Virgil Bowles Kata Championships on April 16.
The event is from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Jay County High School.
Admission is free and open to the public.

3-on-3 tourney is May 14
West Jay Community Center will have a double-elimination 3-on-3 basketball tournament May 14 at Dunkirk City Park, 125 Hoover St.
Registration begins at 8 a.m. with games to begin at 9 a.m.
Cost is $50, and there is a maximum of four players per team. P
