Local notes
3-on-3 tourney is Saturday
West Jay Community Center will have a double-elimination 3-on-3 basketball tournament Saturday at Dunkirk City Park, 125 Hoover St.
Registration begins at 8 a.m. with games to begin at 9 a.m.
Cost is $50, and there is a maximum of four players per team.

Boomer registration ongoing
Registration is ongoing for the 2016 Boomer T-ball season.
Cost is $45, which includes a t-shirt and hat.
The league is open to players from 3 to 6 years old.
Deadline to register is Monday.

JCHS to host hoops camps
The Jay County High School boys basketball team will host basketball camps for elementary and middle school students.
The camp for middle school kids will be from 10:30 a.m. to noon May 23 through 26 in the JCHS auxiliary gym.
For elementary school kids, the camp will be from 10:30 a.m. to noon May 31st through June 3.
Cost is $30 per camper or $50 for two from the same family.

Baseball camp starts in June
Jay County High School’s baseball team will have a camp for students in first through eighth grades.
The camp will be June 6 through 8 at Don E. Selvey Field at JCHS.
First through third graders will be from 8 to 9:30 a.m., fourth and fifth graders will be from 10 to 11:30 a.m., and sixth through eighth graders will be from 1 to 2 p.m.
Cost is $25, and each additional camper from the same family is $15.
