Public Notice NOTICE TO BIDDERS Notice is hereby given that the Town of Salamonia, Indiana will receive sealed bids until 7:00 p.m. on June 7, 2016 for the sale of property located at 5810 E 400 S, Salamonia, Indiana. All bids will be reviewed by the Town Board at its regular meeting on June 7, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. Any bid received must be in an amount not less than $1,305.00. The property will be sold to the highest bidder. In the event of a tie, the sale will be made to the bidder who submits the earliest bid. The property is being sold "AS IS" with no warranty. As a condition of the purchase, the building located on said property must be torn down and removed from the property within six (6) months of the date of purchase. Interested parties may inspect the premises by appointment before June 7, 2016 by contacting a member of the Town Board. The Town will provide a quit claim deed to the highest bidder. Cash or certified check in the amount of 10% of the bid shall be due on June 7, 2016 with the balance to be paid within 30 days of June 7, 2016. Any transfer/closing costs shall be paid by the successful bidder. The Town of Salamonia reserves the right to reject any and all bids. In the event that no bid is received in excess of $1,305.00, the Town Board will receive sealed bids in any amount until 7:00 p.m. on July 5, 2016. Any such bid will be reviewed by the Town Board at its regular meeting on July 5, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. The property will be sold to the highest bidder. The property will be sold under the same terms and conditions as listed above with 10% of the bid due on July 5, 2016 and the balance to be paid at closing within 30 days of July 5, 2016.
