Theft
A Portland man was arrested Tuesday morning for theft.
Jeff Tyler Rivers, 25, 956 S. Meridian St., was arrested for theft: receiving stolen property, a Level 6 felony.
He was booked at 11: 15 a.m. into Jay County Jail but was released on a $6,000 bond.
Possession
A Berne woman was arrested today on two drug-related felonies.
Melissa Sue Coffield, 26, 108 Interlaken Drive, was arrested for possession of a syringe and possession of cocaine, narcotics or methamphetamine, both Level 6 felonies, and possession of paraphernalia, a Class A misdemeanor.
She was booked at 12:30 a.m. into Jay County Jail and is being held there on a $4,500 bond.

Drug charges
A Bluffton man was arrested today on drug-related charges.
Brent Alan Wells, 29, 855 E. 350 South, was arrested for possession of a syringe and possession of cocaine, narcotics or methamphetamine, both Level 6 felonies, and possession of paraphernalia, a Class A misdemeanor.
He was booked at 1:07 a.m. into Jay County Jail and is being held there on a $4,500 bond.
