Portland class of ’71 is looking for alumni
Taking Note
The Portland High School graduating class of 1971 is in search of the following alumni: Sandra Renet Bradford Wenger, James E. Franks, David Lee Lambert, Sandra K. McKinley, Lillian Potter Current, Patricia Sprague, Lou Ann Conley and Dale Lee Baldauf.

Library events
Middle and high school students will have plenty of activities to keep them busy on Thursdays at Jay County Public Library.
Make a no-sew t-shirt bag on June 2, smoothie making will be on June 9, learn about reading your way around the world at the Amazing Reading Race on June 16, and book cart relay racing will be on June 23. All activities are from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Programs for families will be at 11 a.m. each Monday.
Cheeseman Transport will visit on June 6, an obstacle course will be set up on June 13, My Plate-The Musical by Minnetrista Theatre Preserves will be the entertainment on June 20 and action bingo will round at the month on June 27.
Play with Legos all day on Tuesday, May 31, and from 2 to 7 p.m. on June 7, 14, 21 and 28.
Exercise with a DVD during Workout Wednesdays from 6 to 7 p.m. on June 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29. A healthy snack will also be served.
Coloring for kids and teens and adult crafts and coloring will be from 2 to 4 p.m. on June 9 and 23.
Preschool programs will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. for those two to five on Friday, June 3, 10, 17, 24 and July 1.
Crafts will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, June 3, 10, 17, 24 and July 1 for elementary-aged kids.
A Trails and Bikes program will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 4. and a Health & Fitness program will be at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, June 7.
