WJMS honor roll announced
West Jay Middle School named students to the honor roll for the first nine-week grading period.
Named to the all A honor roll in sixth grade were Alex Ardizzone, Courtney Benter, JaiDi Brunson, Haylea Hough, Abigail Johnson, James Larrowe, Lilly Rogers and Logan Zimmerman.
Sixth grade students named to A-B honor roll were Gabriela Bilbrey, Danyelle Bland, Taylor Brown, Spencer Caldwell, Zander Champ, Thomas Charles, James Clark Jr., Raven Dale, Abbie Fields, Astella Fisher, Paige Gillette, Liberty Keller, Paige Mumbower, Cayllie Newsome, Dominick Newsome, Erin Pennington, Kaylee Pennington, Caden Phenis, Marisa Posocco, Alizabeth Stotler, Peyton Vaughn, Tavin Wasson, Jaiden Watson and Isaiah Weekly.
Named to the all A honor roll in seventh grade were Aaron Funkhouser and Nadia Hardman.
Seventh grade students named to the A-B honor roll were Madeline Ardizzone, Quentin Beeks, Taryn Caldwell, Elizabeth Dollar, Madison Hammers, Haven Harvey, Aubri Hatzell, Rochelle Jackson, Kess McBride, Graiden Miller, Marissa Overla, Isabel Rodgers, Elijah Stephens and McKenna Vore.
Named to the all A honor roll in eighth grade were Kirsten Best, Chloe Campbell, Lillian Clemmons, Sophia Fugiett, Demi Grove, Hannah Littler, Grace Morgan, Jayden Price, Makenzie Ring, Kinsey Shannon and Kaleb Weaver.

FAFSA event
College Goal Sunday will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at John Jay Center for Learning in Portland to help with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
Parents should bring completed 2015 IRS 1040 tax returns, W-2 Forms and other 2015 income and benefits information and students who worked last year should also bring their income information.
Students and parents are encouraged to apply for their U.S. Department of Education FSA IDs at fsaid.ed.gov before
