Joe and Diane (Wolters) Siegrist will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary on Saturday.
The couple was married on Nov. 12, 1976, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Coldwater, Ohio, and have lived in rural Jay County for 36 years.
Diane is a retired nurse and works part-time in the emergency room at Mercer Health in Coldwater, and Joe is a self-employed farmer and also works at Kaup Pharmacy in Fort Recovery.
They are the parents of Gail Dues (husband: Joe), Portland, Jill Geisendorff (husband: Jeremy), Anderson, Eric Siegrist (wife: Jani), Dunkirk, Beth Siegrist (fiance: Will Handt), Brownsburg, and Kyle Siegrist, a senior at Trine University in Angola; They have eight grandchildren.
The couple celebrated with a family vacation this past summer to Lake Michigan and will have a Mass of Celebration at 4:30 p.m. Saturday at Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church in Fort Recovery.
