Joseph Keller

Joseph A. “Joe” Keller, 76, Fort Recovery, died Sunday at his home.
Born in Dayton, Ohio, to Alvin and Mary (Sanderell) Keller, he was a 1958 graduate of Fort Recovery High School.
He married Mary Homan on July 2, 1966, and she survives.
A veteran of the United States Army, he served as trustee for Gibson Township and retired from farming.
He was a member of American Legion Post No. 345 and its honor guard, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 6515 and Knights of Columbus Post No. 3324, all of Fort Recovery, National Rifle Association, Fraternal Order of Eagles Post No. 3025 in Coldwater, Ohio, Progressive Sportsman Club in Fort Recovery, Fort Recovery Gun Club, Ohio Good Sam Camping Club and St. Paul Catholic Church and its Holy Name Society in Sharpsburg, Ohio.
A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul Catholic Church with the Revs. Matthew Feist and Charles Mullen officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery with the American Legion conducting military graveside honors.
Visitation is 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and 9 to 9:45 a.m. Wednesday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home in Fort Recovery. A Knights of Columbus prayer service will be conducted at 7:45 p.m. Tuesday.
