Light taken
A Portland resident reported Sunday that a light was taken from her front lawn.
Annette Coby, 1004 W. Walnut St., told Portland police Sunday evening that someone took a laser light from the property.
The theft took place sometime between 3 p.m. Saturday and 4 p.m. Sunday, police said. The light is valued at $50.
Avoid intersection
Drivers are advised to avoid the intersection of Votaw and Meridian Streets from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday.
Traffic lights will be down during those hours as new ones are installed. Portland police will be directing traffic.
