Connie Laux, 71, Portland, died early Saturday at her home.
Born in Portland to Harry and Pauline (Tucker) Koon, she married Robert Laux on July 10, 1965, and he preceded her in death on Feb. 22, 1990.
Retiring from Jay-Randolph Developmental Services in Portland, she was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Moose Lodge, Elks Lodge and American Legion Auxiliary, all of Portland.
Surviving are a daughter, Michelle Laux, Portland; a sister, Diana Goth, Portland; and several nieces and nephews.
Services are 10 a.m. Wednesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Rev. Robert Moran officiating. Burial will be in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Bryant.
Visitation is 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Baird-Freeman Funeral Home in Portland, with a scripture service at 7 p.m.
Memorials may be sent to Jay County Cancer Society or Jay-Randolph Developmental Services.
