East Jay students named to honor roll

Students were named to the honor roll at East Jay Middle School for the first nine-week grading period.

Students of Month
West Jay Middle School named its Students of the Month for November.
In sixth grade was Haylea Hough, the daughter of Trisha Smith and Ray Zehringer.
In seventh grade was Taryn Caldwell, the granddaughter of Brian and Trina Caldwell.
In eighth grade was Demi Grove, the daughter of Cheree McCallister and Ryan Grove.

4-H enrollment
Enrollment for Jay County 4-H is going on through Jan. 15.
Open houses will be held to enroll  from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 8 and Thursday, Jan. 5, in the 4-H Exhibit Hall at Jay County Fairgrounds.

Cooking class
A free healthy cooking and exercise class will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Dec. 9,  for seniors 55 and older, in the Arthur and Gloria Muselman Wellness Pavilion at Swiss Village in Berne. For more information, call director Briana Eicher at (260) 589-4496.
