Photography contest to be on Facebook

Those interested in photography and nature are invited to participate in Indiana State Parks’ fall color photo contest on social media. 
The contest is in honor of this year’s centennial of Indiana State Parks.
To participate, visit facebook.com/INdnrstateparksandreservoirs or follow and tag @indianadnr on Instagram and post photos in either location.
Photos must be taken before Oct. 30 at an Indiana State Park or Reservoir (see list at stateparks.IN.gov/2392.htm). Tag photos with #SPFallColor2016 and include the location and date of the photo.
Photos will be place in albums on Facebook for voting between Nov. 5 and 15.
 Prizes will be awarded and will include 100 one-day state park passes, a $100 state park inns gift card, or the choice of a state park annual pass, annual lake permit, horse permit or off-road cycling permit.

Sheriff Jeff Grey will present a drug program on Nov. 1 at Fort Recovery Public Library.
The program “Working Together to Fight Drugs in Mercer County” will begin at 6:30 p.m.
