Pulse cars to visit Fort Recovery Museum
Taking Note
The Pulse/Lite Star Car group will visit Fort Recovery State Museum Sunday.
A group of 10 to 15 cars will arrive at 10:30 a.m. and stay for viewing until 11 a.m.
There were approximately 360 Pulse cars produced from 1984 to 1990.
The cars are about 16 feet long by 6 feet wide and have a custom frame with a fiberglass body and are licensed to travel on public highways using a motorcyle engine.

Weight program
The Mercer Health Weight Management Center in Coldwater, Ohio, will hold the 9-week weight management program Rev It Up to help participants achieve a healthier lifestyle.
The program will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 13 andcontinue each Tuesday for nine weeks.
Rev It Up is a behavior modification, interactive lifestyle program led by a registered dietitian that covers topics such as ‘revving’ up your metabolism, hunger and fullness signals, fluid needs, meal timing, simplified portion guidelines, eating out strategies and aerobic exercise and will include ongoing support after the program ends.

Family LifeCare in Berne will begin two grief support groups on Monday, Sept. 12.
“Grief Transitions: How do I live without you?” will meet from 2 to 3:30 p.m. and continue each Monday through Oct. 17.
A parent grief support group for those who have lost a child will meet from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and will also continue each Monday for six weeks.
Both groups will be led by grief support specialist Jeff Luttrell. Family LifeCare is located at 108 S. Jefferson in Berne. For more information, call (800) 355-2817.

Previews of the new children’s program “Music Time” will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 9 and again at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 13.
The program is for toddlers and preschoolers and will involve music and movement and regular sessions will be at 10:30 a.m. each Tuesday from Sept. 27 through Nov. 1. To register, call (419) 375-2869.
