James and Martha Landers celebrate 65th
Anniversaries
James R. and Martha Joan Landers, rural Bryant, are celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary with a reception from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, at Bryant Community Center.
James married Martha Joan Spillman on June 24, 1951, at Evangelical United Brethren Church in Portland.
Martha retired as an instructional assistant with the Jay School Corporation and James retired as a tool room foreman and machinist at Teledyne Portland Forge.
They are the parents of Mike Landers and Bob Landers, both of Portland, and Connie Kenyon, Avon. They also have six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
