Craft show scheduled in Dunkirk

Taking Note

The Main Street USA Craft Show will once again be held in Dunkirk.
The annual show will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, in the West Jay Middle School gym and admission is free. The event is being coordinated by the Zeta Chi Chapter of Delta Theta Tau Sorority.
“We are pleased to have the opportunity to continue this worthwhile community event. Many local people showcase their talent and not-for-profit groups raise much needed funds for their local projects by having a booth at the show,” Chapter president Pam Robbins said.
“We have quite the line-up,” Zeta Chi member Brenda Brumfield remarked about the 42 booths scheduled for this year’s show. Some of those will include weaved baskets, beaded jewelry, bake sale items, woodworking and knitted and crocheted items. “Lots and lots of diversity here,” Brumfield said.
There will also be representatives from Tupperware, Mary Kay, Scentsy, Thirty-One and others.
Food for sale will include biscuits and gravy, chicken and noodles,  walking tacos, hot dogs, chili, apple dumplings and caramel corn from Miller’s Merry Manor.
New this year will be raffle prizes and a 50/50 drawing with proceeds to benefit local scholarships.
To reserve a booth, call Brumfield at (765) 808-1292 or email [email protected].
