Felony arrests
Narcotic possession
A Portland woman was arrested early this morning on drug charges.
Stacy Y. McCrosson, 36, 502 N. Wayne St., was arrested on preliminary charges of possession of a narcotic drug a Level 6 felony, possession of paraphernalia, a Class A misdemeanor, possession of marijuana, a Class B misdemeanor, and operating a vehicle while intoxicated, a Class C misdemeanor.
She was booked at 12:58 a.m. into Jay County Jail and is being held on a $4,500 bond.
Battery
A Portland man was arrested on battery charges Wednesday evening.
Brian W. Lessing, 24, 1237 N. U.S. 27, Lot 43, was arrested on preliminary charges of two counts of battery, one a Level 6 felony and one a Class A misdemeanor, and possession of paraphernalia, a Class C misdemeanor.
He was booked at 8:25 p.m. into Jay County Jail and is being held on a $4,500 bond.
