A Randolph County man was arrested Thursday for his involvement in the death of a Randolph County woman he brought April 4 to Jay County Hospital.
Angela Kay Moore, 34, Union City, was pronounced dead April 4 at Jay County Hospital. Ryan K. Fisher, 37, 800 block of Beeson Drive, Winchester, told Randolph County Sheriff’s office that he brought Moore to the hospital after she overdosed.
Randolph County Sheriff’s Department arrested Fisher early Thursday morning on preliminary charges of reckless homicide, a Level 5 felony, and neglect of a dependent resulting in death, a Level 3 felony. Fisher is currently in Randolph County Jail on a probation hold.
Formal charges have not been filed against Fisher by Randolph County or Jay County prosecutor’s offices. The investigation into the incident is ongoing and being conducted jointly by Jay County Sheriff’s Office, Portland Police Department and Randolph County Sheriff’s Office.
