Middle school teacher earns STEM grant

Kyle Love, a teacher at West Jay and East Jay Middle schools, received a STEM Winter 2017 grant.

The grants are to purchase supplies and equipment that enhance science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) curriculum in the classroom.  



Free screenings

Free blood pressure screenings will be held from 1:30 to 3 p.m. on  April 26 at Mary Help of Christians  Church in Fort Recovery.



Egg hunts

Two Easter egg hunts will be held in Fort Recovery on Saturday. 

Fort Recovery Knights of Columbus will host one at 1:30 p.m. at Ambassador Park  and another will take place at 2 p.m. at Fort Site Park.



Dean’s list 

Benjamin Dilworth and Kelsey Fiely, both of  Fort Recovery, were named to the University of Northwestern Ohio College of Business winter quarter president’s dean’s list. Chase Bruns, Fort Recovery, was named to the dean’s list.

Mother Goose & Me will be held at 10 a.m. Friday and DIY Easter Crafts can be made from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Jay County Public Library in Portland..
