William Hudson

William L. Hudson, 80, Ossian, died Tuesday at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. He was a former resident of Portland.
Born in New Castle, he was the son of William and Ruby (Dodd) Hudson.
Surviving are his wife, Joan A. Hudson, Ossian; three sisters, Deanna Gillespie (husband: Don), Portland, Leora Engle (husband: John), Portland, and Nancy Hudson, Berne; two brothers, Jim Hudson (wife: Marcia), rural Muncie, and Jay Hudson (wife: Rita), New Mexico; four sons, Dan Hudson (wife: Cheryl), Roger Hudson (wife: Rea), Terry Hudson (wife: Yolanda Diaz), and Jeff Hudson (wife) Jenny; two daughters, Susan Mygrant (husband: Les) and Lori Fritz (husband: Steve); and 16 grandchildren.
An avid bowler, he was inducted into the Adams County Bowling Hall of Fame in 2012. He was a member of the Indiana Air Guard from 1954 to 1991.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 14623 Bluffton Road, Yoder.
Visitation will be from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Saturday and 3 to 8 p.m. Friday at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Funeral Home, 120 W. Mill St., Ossian. A Rosary service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
