Chloe Newsome

Chloe N. Newsome, 94, Dunkirk, died Monday at Albany Health Care.

Born in Charleston, West Virginia, to William and Roxie (White) Parsley, she was preceded in death by her husband Charlie Newsome in 1980.

She was a member of Dunkirk Church of the Nazarene and Laf a Lot Club.  

Surviving are two daughters, Della Jean, Dunkirk, and Billie Jean Myers (husband: Bill), Redkey; seven sons, Oscar Newsome, Dunkirk, Herbert Newsome (wife: Judy), Walter Joe Newsome and Roger Newsome (wife: Betty), all of Redkey, Dennis Newsome (wife: Billie) and Rick Newsome (wife: Patty), both of Dunkirk, and Charles Newsome (wife: Audrey), Charleston, West Virginia; 43 grandchildren and many great and great-great-grandchildren.

Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Dunkirk Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Tom Fett officiating. Burial will be in the Dunkirk I.O.O.F. Cemetery.

Visitation is 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to services on Saturday at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Dunkirk Church of the Nazarene.
