Extension to teach at library

Jay County Home Extension members will hold demonstrations on Tuesday in the Jay County Public Library Community Room.

Sewing will be held from 4 to 5 p.m.; pie crust from 5 to 5:30 p.m.; Gifts in a Jar will be from 5:30 to 6 p.m.; and a Make It and Take It Craft will be from 6 to 6:30 p.m.

Free breakfast

In recognition of National Older Americans Month in May, Swiss Village and the Berne Rotary Club are sponsoring the 27th annual Senior Breakfast.

The free breakfast will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, May 5, at Swiss Village, 1350 W. Main St. in Berne.

There will be free blood pressure checks and other tests available for a fee from 6:30 to 8:30 a.m.
