CELINA, Ohio — The Indians played in their first invitational of the season Wednesday.
They were last out of six teams.
Fort Recovery High School’sgirls golf team finished sixth during the Mercer County Ladies Invitational at Mercer County Elks Golf Club.
St. Henry was the team champion with 395. New Bremen shot 434 to finish as the runner-up while Coldwater totaled 485 for third. Fort Recovery shot 522.
Kristen Keller led the Tribe by carding 110 from the team’s No. 1 spot. Eryn Litmer had 132, and Becca Wood was third on the team with 137. Devin Jutte completed the team score for Fort Recovery by shooting 143.
Sophie Timmerman and Lydia Schmitz also competed for the Indians but they did not factor into the team score. Timmerman finished with 149, and Schmitz totaled 156.
Karlee Staugler of St. Henry was the individual tournament champion with 94.
