NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS OF 

PROPOSED ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS

Notice is hereby given the taxpayers of Jay County, Indiana that the proper legal officers of Jay County Council at the Jay County Court House, at 7:00 o'clock p.m., on the 13th day of December 2017 will consider the following additional appropriations in excess of the budget for the current year. 

COUNTY GENERAL 1000-380-10-0022 Other Compensation $25,000.00

LIT Economic Development

1112-001-30-0196 Jay County Trails $10,000.00

DRUG FREE COMMUNITIES

1148-001-30-0126 Jay County Organization $22,300.00 Total $57,300.00 Taxpayers appearing at the meeting shall have a right to be heard.  The additional appropriation as finally made will be referred to the Department of Local Government Finance. The DLGF will make a written determination as to the sufficiency of funds to support the appropriations made within fifteen (15) days of receipt of a certified copy of the action time.
