Michele Teegarden, age 49, a resident of Pennville passed away Thursday, Nov. 30, 2017, at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie. She was the manager of Cricket Wireless in Portland. She graduated from Jay County High School in 1986, and furthered her education at Miami Middletown University in Middletown, Ohio. She was also active in several community activities.
Michele Teegarden was born March 18, 1968, in Jay County, Indiana, the daughter of Lee and Pat Bone. She was married to Chip Teegarden on Dec. 23, 1989.
Survivors include:
Her beloved husband — Chip Teegarden, Pennville, Indiana
Three sons — Jarran Teegarden (wife: Allysa), Cincinnati, Ohio, Jordan Teegarden, Pennville, Indiana, and Hunter Teegarden, Monroe, Ohio
One daughter — Chelsea Teegarden, Middletown, Ohio
A granddaughter — Kennedi Teegarden, being raised by Chip and Michele in their Pennville home
Her parents — Lee Bone, Pennville, Indiana, and Pat Bone, Hartford City, Indiana
One brother — Matt Bone, Bluffton, Indiana
One sister — Melinda Hopkins, Leo, Indiana
Seven grandchildren
Visitation will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. on Sunday in the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland. Pastor Brad Allen will officiate the services and burial will follow in the IOOF Twin Hills Cemetery in Pennville.
Memorials may be directed to the funeral home to assist in final expenses.
