Terry Wilhelm, age 50, a resident of Portland, passed away Monday, Dec. 11, 2017, at Jay County Hospital. He worked many years for Champion Homes in Ridgevillle, Indiana, before its closing. He then worked for St. Henry Tile.
Terry Wilhelm was born Aug. 9, 1967, in Portland, Indiana, the son of Glen and Talma (Hartley) Wilhelm Jr. He was married on Feb. 14, 1988, to Tammy Stone.

His mother — Talma Wilhelm, Portland
Two sons — Aaron Wilhelm, Portland, and Andy Wilhelm, Portland
Four brothers- Glen Wilhelm (wife: Trudy), Portland, Perry Wilhelm (wife: Betty), Portland, Danny Wilhelm (Hollie), Portland, and Patrick Wilhelm (wife: Kathy), Decatur
Two sisters — Holly Miller (companion: Mike Fear), Montpelier, and Crystal Schuler, Portland
One granddaughter — Emmalyn Wilhelm
Several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday in the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland.
Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Nan Weesner and the Rev. Phill Jellison will officiate the services.
Memorials may be directed to the funeral home to assist the family with final expenses.
