Chloe Emily Davidson, 89, of Berne (Swiss Village), formerly of Geneva, Indiana, passed away at 10:20 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 15, 2017, at Swiss Village in Berne, Indiana.
She was born on Wednesday, Aug. 22, 1928, in Noble County, Indiana. She married Frederick W. “Bud” Davidson on Saturday, July 3, 1948, in Jackson Township, Wells County, Indiana; he passed on March 25, 2017.
Chloe was a lifelong resident of Adams County and was a 1946 graduate of Jefferson Township High School.
She was a seamstress at Berne Furniture and had served on the Adams County Council of Aging for five years. She was a member at Bethel Brethren Church in Berne, Indiana.
Loving survivors include: daughter, Deborah Parrett, Berne, Indiana, son James E. (Mary) Davidson, Berne, Indiana, daughter, Jocelyn "Jodi" (James) Zerby, Berne, Indiana; son Mark T. (Nancy Scott) Davidson, Berne, Indiana, sister Martha (LaVerne) Miller, Berne, Indiana, eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick W. Davidson, her father, James T. Bailey, her mother, Dessie (Ludy) Bailey, son Kevin Davidson, daughter Kira Jean Davidson, sister Norah Eberly, brother Guy Bailey, brother Blaine Bailey, sister Alice Journey and brother Robert Bailey.
Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Downing & Glancy Funeral Home, 100 N. Washington St., Geneva, on Thursday, Dec. 21, 2017, from 4 to 8 p.m.
A service to celebrate Chloe’s life will be at Downing & Glancy Funeral Home at 10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 22, 2017. Viewing will be held one hour before the service. Pastor Joseph E. Nass will be officiating and interment will follow in the West Lawn Cemetery in Geneva.
Memorials may be sent to American Cancer Society, 5635 W. 96th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46278.
Arrangements are being handled by Downing & Glancy Funeral Home in Geneva.
